Product Story
Ritual Hands begins with a familiar human gesture: one hand raised in quiet precision, the other open beneath it.
Set within a framed architectural relief, the two sculpted hands extend beyond the surface rather than remaining part of a flat image. Their positions create a moment that feels suspended between offering, holding, and release.
A single incense stick completes the composition.
Once lit, smoke rises directly from the gesture itself, shifting the piece from a static wall sculpture into an active ritual object. The artwork changes with use — form remains still while fragrance and smoke introduce movement into the surrounding space.
Its scale and depth give the object a strong architectural presence on the wall, while the restrained monochrome surface keeps attention on shadow, proportion, and the expressive geometry of the hands.
Displayed without incense, it remains a sculptural wall object. In use, it becomes a quiet intersection of art, space, and ritual.
Natural Variations
Because the piece is formed from a composite sculptural material, subtle differences may occur between individual pieces.
Variations may include:
- slight differences in surface texture
- minor tonal variation
- small differences around sculpted edges and contours
- subtle finishing marks
- slight dimensional variation
These characteristics are part of the production and finishing process and do not affect the intended appearance or function of the sculpture.
Care
Dust gently with a soft dry cloth or soft brush.
Avoid soaking, abrasive cleaners, harsh chemicals, and strong impact. Keep the sculpted fingers and projecting hand forms protected when moving or installing the piece.
When burning incense, mount the sculpture securely in a stable location away from flammable materials. Use only correctly fitted stick incense and never leave burning incense unattended.
Where Form Meets Ritual
Mounted on the wall, Ritual Hands turns the act of burning incense into part of the composition. The incense extends from the sculpted gesture while smoke rises through the space, bringing subtle movement to an otherwise still architectural form.
Beyond the Ritual
Even without incense, Ritual Hands remains a statement wall sculpture. Its warm ivory tone, dimensional relief, and expressive hand forms create depth through light and shadow — designed to hold its own as an art object within the room.
